make your own polymer clay stamps.
all you’ll need to do is go rummaging through your art supplies, sewing box, scrapbooking supplies, tool box, junk drawers, etc., searching for objects that would make an interesting impression in your clay, have the kids help.
you’ll also need some polymer clay in any color.
- first, you’ll need to condition your clay, and roll it into a big “worm” shape and cut it how ever long you prefer.
- push your objects into the clay. i used decorative buttons and a few scrapbooking brads to make the stamps shown in the photo.
- push down to flatten the top of the stamp “handle”, this way you can stand them on end near your work surface, making it easy to see all your stamps.
..that’s it, your very own creative clay stamps.
these are great for kids and adults alike. use them for clay jewelry, kids clay projects, party activities, the possibilities are endless.
have fun clay stampin’!
